Headed on out to the Wildlife Sanctuary with Betel Nut Tours, who have a special deal with the zoo to let their visitors go behind the scenes. This is my guide Sun playing with Lucky- you can see that he has a prosthetic front foot. He lost it in a snare in the wild and the tour group raised the money to pay for the prosthetic. I also got to play with Lucky, but he was quite splashy and grabby so no photos.

We got to go behind the tiger housing where they were waiting to be fed. Hungry tigers staring you down from 4 feet away is a bit of a rush.

My awesome guide Sun and our driver in their awesome leopard print Jeep.

The next day I was off to cycle through the local villages along the Mekong river. This woman is weaving cotton since the silk they usually weave is out of season.

Crossing the Mekong River via ferry - it very much a locals thing, I didn't see a single other Westerner on the entire ride. Great!

After a hard morning of riding my guide Marie and I relax at the Vicious Cycle Cafe.

The National Museum, where many of the treasures of Angkor Wat and other temples are housed. No photos inside, though.
