The 100 Square Km around Angkor Wat (pictured above) and Siem Reap contains the most amazing collection of ancient ruins on the face of the earth. And more tourists than you can handle. Get up early, get in and get out before the tour buses pull up, it's the only way to see these incredible monuments in peace and it's the SLOW season! Also, be ready for rain... and lots of it.
Just like Indiana Jones, but with fewer Nazi's.
